Student Committees

When Students Take the Lead

At the school, students are not just participants — they are actors in their environment. From class delegates to the CONSEM, through the graduating students' committees, every student can claim her place, carry the voice of her peers and leave her mark. A fertile ground for developing leadership, responsibility and belonging.

Environmental Action Committee

The Environmental Action committee is made up of students who care deeply about preserving the environment. In addition to raising awareness among students and school staff, they manage recycling, clothing upcycling projects and composting.

Class Delegates Council

Each high school class elects two delegates every year to represent them before the high school administration. The council’s role is to collaborate with the administration on pedagogical and logistical matters, to be the voice of their classmates before the administration — and vice versa. At least three meetings are scheduled throughout the year. The class representatives are also responsible for fostering a positive class atmosphere, serving as CONSEM spokespersons for their group, organizing activities for the group from time to time, and acting as liaisons between the class and the teachers.

CONSEM: Marcelline Student Council

Every year, CONSEM members — elected by their peers and teachers — work together with members of the educational team. Their role is to participate in planning certain school activities and to be the voice of their peers before the administration. Being a student council member develops a sense of belonging to the school, a sense of responsibility and teamwork, all valuable assets for the future.

Marcy Médias Team

Marcy Médias is the official content creation team of Collège Marcelline. Made up of Grade 9, 10 and 11 students passionate about photography and video, they cover the milestone events of student life.

Their mission: to capture the essence of the school through original content for social media — polished photos, dynamic videos and creative reels that make the school shine.

In addition to developing their content creation skills, members accumulate recognized volunteer hours, making this an experience that enhances both the résumé and the portfolio.

Graduating Students’ Committees

Graduating students who wish to get involved and help their cohort experience an unforgettable final Marcelline year can do so through various committees:

  • Graduation Ceremony Committee
  • Prom Committee
  • Yearbook Committee
  • Hoodie Committee
  • Graduation Photo Committee
