A Structured Progression, from Kindergarten to Grade 6
Our program evolves with the child, ensuring a smooth transition from the manipulation of physical objects to the abstraction of digital code. Each year, challenges grow in complexity, tools evolve and skills deepen.
Grade 1: Awakening to Algorithmic Thinking
In Grade 1, students discover the mechanical workings of robots with the WeDo system and take their first steps with Scratch JR, thereby learning the visual syntax of code.
Grades 2 and 3: Building Competencies
On Scratch JR, students are no longer just executing instructions, they become creators. They design personalized thematic projects, build interactive stories and deepen their understanding of digital cause and effect.

Grades 4 and 5: Engineering and Advanced Programming
In Grade 4, the introduction of the Spike system brings engineering challenges that require analytical thinking and technical precision. In Grade 5, students master principles of physics (for example, through the construction of a catapult) and are introduced to the full version of Scratch.
Grade 6: The Grand Challenge
The journey concludes in Grade 6 with a major comprehensive and culminating project. Students draw on all the skills acquired throughout elementary school to manage the complete cycle of a technology project, from concept to completion.

What Robotics Develops in Practical Terms
Beyond technology, the robotics program cultivates essential human qualities: critical thinking through experimentation and error, collaboration on team projects, perseverance in the face of obstacles and self-confidence with technological tools.
